Description
A 2200W inverter capable of converting DC (Direct Current) power to AC (Alternating Current). Inverters allow off-grid power generated by solar panels to be used with household appliances and electronics.
This inverter produces pure sine waves at 110-120V 60Hz with four type A/B AC power sockets, suitable for regions such as Canada, United States, Mexico, and much of Central and South America. Find out your regions’ AC specifications by clicking this link.
This inverter comes with a Bluetooth Inverter Remote Controller with mobile apps for iOS and Android. Monitor and control your inverter from a distance using your phone and enjoy the freedom of being able to install your inverter anywhere, even awkward or hard to reach places.
All generators, including solar, naturally create DC power. But any household electronics with plugs to connect to outlets run off AC power and must be converted by an inverter at the appropriate frequency before use with off-grid generated power. AC power is used in utilities because it allows for easier transportation of electricity across the grid, but is less energy efficient as DC power. Inverters are necessary to keep a house or its selective appliances running during blackouts. They are connected to the battery and include outlet sockets, to which electronics can plug-in exactly like power outlets in a home. These inverters include positive and negative terminals for connection to batteries and input power.
